The first consortium meeting of the AI4Youth project took place in Belgrade this past December, bringing together representatives from partner organizations Backslash, CONNECT International, and Balkan Urban Movement. This meeting provided a crucial opportunity for the partners to discuss and coordinate their efforts, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation of the project’s tasks. In addition to planning the practical steps for project execution, the partners also discussed the best methods of communication to enhance collaboration and set out detailed plans for the next phases of the project.
The primary aim of the AI4Youth project is to equip youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to address and mitigate the negative impacts that artificial intelligence and algorithms can have on young people, particularly in the areas of education and employment. As AI continues to influence various sectors, this project seeks to empower youth workers to support and guide young people in navigating these challenges effectively.
The project “AI4YOUTH” is co-funded by the European Union.
